Beware: items marked on menu as gluten free but are fried may be in a shared frier.

Food looked delicious, was about to order their fried chicken that was marked as GF. Table was getting some other items, so I was inquiring if any of them (fries, particularly) were GF and while they initially said yes, once I asked if they were in a shared frier they said they fry in the same oil as their pretzels.

Asked again about the fried chicken and whether it was fried in separate oil and then they admitted it’s all shared, so I had to pass.

Perfect for someone GF, but definitely be careful if you’re celiac / maybe choose elsewhere.

Located in the back of Parkside Bar, this little joint has some of the best food in Birmingham. Their menu is constantly changing, and they always keep some GF items.
