Hotel Alexander

We were there with a bigger group and booked our dinner and breakfast in advance as we stayed in the hotel for the night. For dinner there were plenty of gf options on the starters buffet. Main course and dessert were quite similar to the version of everyone else but clearly identifiable as glutenfree. Kitchen staff provided all the necessary information we needed. They provided also glutenfree bread with the salad.

Breakfast was not quite as good. The staff was not able to provide glutenfree bread as the kitchen chef was not there at the moment. Glutenfree cereals were marked but open displayed next to the normal cereal and there was clearly contamination as we've seen other visitors mixing the spoons.

Wir waren mit einer grösseren Gruppe im Hotel und informierten über die Zöliakie im voraus. Das Abendessen war dem glutenhaltigen sehr ähnlich aber klar als glutenfrei erkennbar. Auch am Vorspeisenbuffet gab es reichlich Auswahl und das Küchenpersonal konnte gut über die Zutaten Auskunft geben. Es gab auch glutenfreies Brot. Beim Frühstück klappte das leider nicht mehr so gut. Das Personal war nicht informiert und kein Glutenfreies Brot verfügbar, da der Küchenchef erst deutlich später kam. Es gab glutenfreies Müesli aber offen und direkt neben dem Normalen. Wir konnten beobachten, wie andere Besucher die Löffel vertauschten. Also nicht sehr sicher bzgl Kontamination.
