We ate here in a family of 4 on August 12 and the food was DELICIOUS!!!!! I ordered filet mignon (glutenfree) and baked potato and a salad. We also shared a shrimp cocktail. No one else in my group was GF. Their food was also delicious. This was one of the BEST filet mignon I have had anywhere in the country. Excellent. The owner is a chef in the kitchen and greeted us at the end of the night. They have lovely outdoor seating with live music. There was a jazz trio playing/singing while we were dining outside. The indoor seating is also luxurious. The only drawback was the VERY slow service from our server, but I think he may have been new (?). We didn't care since we weren't on a schedule that evening and enjoyed the time outside on a beautiful evening. The food is outstanding, so it didn't really matter.

So I called in advance of my visit to confirm they could do celiac safe GF. They confirmed that they could including the steak and potatoes I was craving. Got there and they took great precautions. Checked everything by the chef. Noted my allergy. Even got me a virgin GF raspberry daiquiri. The food was AMAZING. A bit pricy but it is the Dells.
Be aware the bread basket for each table is not GF.
Definitely recommend and will become regulars.

For a very expensive restaurant, the food was mediocre. The gluten free options were limited. I got ribs, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. The potatoes were good, the ribs were ok, and the vegetables had a weird sweet glaze. It just wasn’t great.

Great chicken and ribs. Service was alright.
Yes
The Staff was awesome about everything our serve double checked everything to make sure I was safe. The food was exceptional. We will definitely visit the next time we are in the Dells.
Yes, they have gluten-free items marked with asterisks on menu. However, service was horrendous and food was not uniformly fresh. They try to up sell you on everything just so the waiter can get a bigger tip. They made purposeful mistakes to make the bill higher. The food was really sub-par and the ribeye was very tough. Ribs were serviceable but nothing special. Salad was limp. The most decent items were the scalloped and mashed potatoes. The atmosphere was tired, old, and dirty on top of that. If you really do go, check out the cobwebs on the chandeliers and the dirty curtains between some of the tables. The largest problem is that they just don't care as most of the customers are tourists who won't be back. It was clear that the manager/owner and the staff are not interested in running an honorable restaurant. I eat out a LOT, do not go. There are a lot of other very good restaurants in town. The waiter was not knowledgeable about the marked gluten-free options. No gluten-free bread options and no gluten-free appetizers. Salad, steak, ribs, chicken, and salmon were some of the choices. If you want great gluten-free food in Wisconsin Dells, go to Sprecher's Restaruant that has a gluten-free menu and get the carnitas from the appetizers, they are to die for!
No
Although they did not have a gf menu; their staff was very knowledgeable. All menu items are freshly made in-house. We were able to share an appetizer; in which had a dipping sauce, that they warned me that was thickened with corn starch. I had a NY strip- which was served with a sauce that was gf & fabulous! They made me feel I could safetly eat there; without making it a "big production "
