Hudson House of Nyack

Giving 4 stars cause they have great quality food and I like the ambiance. The staff was not very knowledgable though and I didn't find them to be very accomodating for my gluten free diet. Still they have great chouces and delicious food. I recommend for foodies who are not too gluten sensitive to try this place.

Walked in and was not greater by any staff and couldn't find a check in area. Found people behind the bar handing out like they worked there who saw us come in but ignored us wandering around looking for help. When I asked if they had a check in are and room for two, the man looked us up and down, asked if we had reservations, we said no, and instead of just saying sorry no not until this specific time etc, he just shook his head and said no not for an hour, and went back to talking to the bar employees. Very disinterested. Very odd. We live two towns over. Not Nyack locals. I guess without reservations and not recognizable locals, no need to provide polite greeting. We would have waited the hour or longer if they were organized and polite.

If all dining experiences were like this, I would dine out every day!!! Hudson House was superb from the moment we walked in until after we left!!! If you are anywhere even 30 minutes from Nyak, make the journey for a top notch experience! Get the Chocolate GF cake for dessert, you won't believe how good it is!

I will go back for dinner as often as I am in the area!
