Good poke, their menu says gluten friendly so they aren’t liable. Haven’t had any adverse reactions when eating here, and the flavours are always delicious.

I told them I was a celiac three times and they still didn't understand what I was saying. So then I told them I needed to eat gluten free and they said nothing was gluten free, only gluten friendly. Then I asked them how they avoided cross contamination and what had gluten in it and they didn't understand the question. So frustrating and unhelpful. I've eaten there a few times but only ever ordered using skipthedish with explicit instructions and it's been okay but going to their location and realizing how poorly the staff are trained, I do not feel safe ever eating here again.
No
I've eaten here many times and never had a reaction. There is only one thing not labelled GF and I believe it's a bowl with miso sauce.
Great place to go to. I always order the tuna and it's amazing.

This has basically become my go-to fast food place. Almost completely gluten free, healthy (but not too healthy), with lots of tasty options. My whole family (the rest of which can eat gluten) love this place.

We’ve loved this place since half of our family has Celiac and there are so few places around Burnaby that can accommodate our diet restrictions. We’ve gotten take-out from there 7 or 8 times with no problems. However this last time my daughter got ill. Somehow her meal must have gotten cross-contacted with gluten. The rest of us were fine. She was ill for 4 days so we will be a little hesitant to go back. That said, the food is really good, and they’ve done well the other times so maybe we’ll try again? Edit: I tried again and I’m no longer comfortable eating here. I watched carefully as the person prepared the food and I noticed that she used the same spatula to mix the food as all the others. The spatulas are put back into a jar of water and reused. I had asked that a fresh one be used for mine since I was Celiac but she forgot. When I asked about it she immediately started a new bowl for me, this time with a fresh spatula. Given how I felt that evening though I think some cross-contact still happened. It seems the food handling is just too loose now to be safe for those with Celiac or allergies. I’m sad to say I won’t go back.

I realized too late the options are not gluten free but rather gluten friendly. I specifically asked if the grilled salmon bowl was gluten free and was told yes. I got pretty sick after eating here. My fault though - gluten friendly is not the same as gluten free.
