Their pizza & salads are really good. As folks have said in previous reviews, if you go up and talk to them in person, they assure you that they use a clean pan and pizza cutter. However, I'm concerned that there still maybe cross-contamination as I seem to be having a slight reaction today. Also beware that some of The toppings may have gluten: mole and fried things.

I have had two positive experiences at Hutchins Garage! They have a GF crust base that is quite good and the toppings they have/specialty pizzas are delicious and unique.
You do order from a QR code and there isn’t a place to note a GF allergy/celiac. However, you can walk over to the pizza takeout area by the kitchen and let them know your table number order and they will take care of you. I was informed they will change gloves and take extra CC precautions. They also said they cook GF crust on separate pans and cutting wheel. I haven’t had a reaction either time or from leftovers!

The gluten free crust isn’t the best I’ve had, but the taste on the sauce and topping makes up for it. I had the spicy vodka and I’m already craving another one. It is a pizza place so cross contamination is always a worry. You order on your phone so you have to go up to the counter to talk an employee about the process.

This is absolutely the best GF pizza crust in Durham! No contest. And the bar tenders are the best!

Gluten free crust available and if you tell them you’re allergic they’ll take precautions to avoid cross contamination. I have not gotten sick yet but don’t come often and am a little nervous since it’s a pizza joint and there’s one big pizza oven
