This is a great family-owned slice of Americana. It's not a place that I expected to have any gluten free options at all. There is no gluten-free menu and I fully expected to order a water while my family ate and find something to eat at home later. However, when I spoke with the waiter, she told me seemed to know all about what was and wasn't safe or contaminated. They made me fried catfish with only cormeal after I asked what it was normally battered with. I was told that the fish is fried alone and is safe, but the French fries aren't. I had the catfish with a baked potato. It was all delicious. I'm very sensitive, and I have not had any reaction or issue. I would never have guessed that they would have been as accommodating and careful as they apparently were. I'm so happy about it!
