This was my favorite meal in Iceland! Baked cod and roasted potatoes! Delicious GF dessert options too. Try skyr while you’re in town it’s super yummy!!! Waiter was very knowledgeable about celiac/gluten free eating.

Popped in after a long day of cold, windy, stunningly beautiful outdoor activity and was greeted warmly by the lovely folks here. Was momentarily disappointed to learn the only GF option (oven baked fish) wasn't on the menu...until the host popped back to the kitchen and assured me they would make it. The "few minutes longer" he said it would take barely registered while I enjoyed flavorful spinach, mango, and chile salad...and holy heck, that cod was cooked to perfection! We even got tips on where to see the aurora from downtown - the lights didn't show up for us, but the team at IF&C sure did. Don't worry about variety. Just visit this lovely spot and enjoy the atmosphere, delightful staff, and simply perfect fresh fish.

The cauliflower soup was great and the baked fish was good. Solid food.

LIMITED OPTIONS but the food was great and the service was very fast even with a full restaurant. Oven baked fish is your only choice but it was one of the best meals I had during my stay and the portions were large.

I also had the baked fish (cod) which came with a choice of two sauces and roasted potatoes. It was very tasty and a good-sized portion. When I asked questions about the dish, the server was knowledgeable and helpful.

They have lots of options for folks who are gluten free. They do use spelt in recipes, so you need to watch for that. I ordered their oven baked fish meal with cod two nights in a row and it was delicious. I did not have any reactions.
