They do a great job of making a lettuce wrapped burger, they are careful, and I never get such while eating at In-N-Out! Dedicated fryer means yummy fries!

My go-to place for convenience! If you tell them you have celiac they will change gloves for both the burger and fries. I've even had them make it on a separate grill when it's not busy. They are extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and a place where we can get fries! I eat here 3x a week and rarely ever have an issues.
While they don't have a GF menu or buns, when I told them I needed GF for Celiac, they entered it in the register, and yelled to the back that there was a gluten allergy. My lettuce-wrapped burger was very good and not as messy as some I've had, and when I asked if the sauce was GF she said I could have mustard and ketchup, which I did. Their only fried food is the french fries, which means a dedicated fryer!
Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Order Protein Style for a GF Burger. Fries are made GF in a separate Fryer. Really happy to have had the In'n'out experience!

In-N-Out is so wonderfully easy to eat at. The only thing in the whole restaurant with gluten is the buns. They do not have GF buns, but just order the burger "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce. Excellent food, always worth a stop on a trip. I have never gotten sick at any In-N-Out. They are very good about allergy prep.

5/24 It’s still busy, it’s still clean, and it’s still safe. This place is always busy, but it’s clean and it’s safe.
