I don't normally frequent this particular location but didn't see the harm in trying it once. Upon ordering I specified several times that this was a gluten allergy and had to be prepared as such. When the order was repeated back he got it right. I was watching the counters where the burgers prepped and the girl did not change gloves nor move to a different station. When picking up the order at the counter I once again asked if they were prepared gluten free and was assured it was. No way this happened since I was watching the whole time. I should also add, no where on the receipts was a gluten allergy stated so I don't fault the line, but the man taking my order. DO NOT EAT HERE. Go down the street and eat at the Truxel location where they take a gluten allergy request seriously.
No
Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
spoke with manager who assured me they follow precautions, including glove change, separate prep, different spatulas etc but still got glutened.
unfortunately it’s probably impossible to safely eat at in n out consistently despite their attempts at managing CC

Found In-and-out during our trip through California and Nevada. As their protein-style burgers and fries are a no-brainer for gf meals, we went there more than once.

I have never had an issue once telling them it’s a Gluten Allergy. The only gluten in the store is the buns! I was told buns are toasted separately from where the burgers are cooked and the only thing even in the fries is the fries themselves.

Order Protein Style for a GF Burger. Fries are made GF in a separate Fryer. Really happy to have had the In'n'out experience!
