Best allergy protocol at a fast food chain! Hands down. Order "protein style" burger (lettuce wrap) & let them know you have an gluten/wheat/dairy/ etc allergy! They'll take care of the rest: glove change, separate grill and work station, supplies. If you order within a group, they bag the allergy order separately than the rest. But you definitely have to say "allergy" ordering it lettuce wrap is not enough to let them know.

Found In-and-out during our trip through California and Nevada. As their protein-style burgers and fries are a no-brainer for gf meals, we went there more than once.

I have never had an issue once telling them it’s a Gluten Allergy. The only gluten in the store is the buns! I was told buns are toasted separately from where the burgers are cooked and the only thing even in the fries is the fries themselves.
