The food was absolutely delicious, timely and the service was friendly and well-meaning.
My concern here is the misnomer on menu of “gluten friendly”. It was my experience that this is a duplicitous labeling. If I may be literal, as we expect menus to be, something that is friendly to gluten holds no merit for a person whose body is averse to gluten. This is a misappropriation of “GF”.
We ordered as a table paying attention to the GF options. For starters we ordered papadam, paneer, spinach chaat and brussel sprouts all marked GF. No where was it mentioned they went into a fryer. The waitress we thought to be extremely helpful as she emphatically guided us to GF options, assured us she made a note for the chef & a dozen times confirmed that we made safe choices verbalizing that everything we ordered is gluten free.
We then shared 2 entrees lamb and shrimp.
By the end of the entrees- i started to feel sick. As we complemented the food at the end of our meal the waitress said in passing about the “flash frying”. 🛑 This detail negates any presumed safety for anyone on a gluten free diet.
I became violently sick on the way home & for hours following.
I called to the restaurant to clarify just how much i was exposed to.
My call was returned by a woman who in no uncertain terms assured me that nothing in the restaurant is gluten free. She stated that her waitress would never say anything is gluten free on their menu because she is well trained and there is a reason that the words “gluten free” do not exist on their menu.
Why then mislead with the GF misnomer?

I ate here last month! Each time I go, it gets better and better. They're very knowledgeable about celiac disease I've never had cross-contamination.

I have celiac and I did not not get sick! I felt safe eating here. I would 100% recommended that you request Laurie as your server. She goes out of way to talk to the chef, tells all the cooks, and checks on the food as it comes out. She wrote gluten free all over my order too. The food was SO good! They had gluten free naan it’s not on the menu but they have it. But that was the only thing that wasn’t very good.

Order was marked celiac and they were very reassuring about preparing everything separately to avoid cross-contamination. Crispy spinach chaat and the sauce it came with were the best dish, plus the cashew rice. Chicken wings were crispy but nothing special

I had a fantastic experience at IndeBlue. Allergens on the menu we’re clearly marked, the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive to my allergies and the kitchen was able to modify a dish to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Bonus? Food was as great (if not better) reheated the next day!

Indeblue was so delicious! Many GF options and our server Laurie was SO AMAZING at guiding us through the menu and double checking with the chef what is okay/not cross contaminated. Great for celiacs! They had “gluten free naan” but I wasn’t a huge fan, everything else was amazing. We went for the restaurant week menu but can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.
