I have Celiacs Disease, so it's VERY hard for me to find places to eat. It's always such a scary experience for me. Thomas was our server. He made the experience so amazing. If he didn't know if something was gluten-free, he immediately educated himself with the kitchen staff. I LEFT WITH NO REACTION TO THE FOOD!! I could cry, I'm so happy. The food was amazing and so very flavorful. We will be back and hopefully have Thomas as our server.

Husband has Celiac. This is one of the few places we can go and he can eat nearly anything without worry or fear. It's also nice that he can share and taste other people's food. Staff is knowledgeable and it's just easy to relax here and feel safe.

My husband has Celiac Disease, so he cannot have any gluten. Usually that's a problem with Asian restaurants, mainly because soy sauce contains wheat. But we found reviews online for Iron Factory from other Celiacs, and we decided to give it a go.
Over all? It. Was. Heavenly! Everything tasted beyond wonderful - perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, perfect ingredients, etc. Our waitress, Bianca, was such an absolutely precious rockstar and was great even with all the allergy questions we had to ask. When we go back (when, not if), we'll definitely ask for her.
Their ginger dressing makes the salad a winner, even if you're not a salad person. It was really refreshing and the perfect thing to begin the meal with, so I'm glad we got it! We also ordered a gluten-free version of the stuffed mushrooms, and they were GLORIOUS.
We ordered Combo #1 - chicken, bulgogi, and pork belly, and did the $1 upgrade for spicy chicken. We also opted for the veggies with squash instead of the other option. Everything came out wonderfully, and we didn't have to worry about the chicken being undercooked (always a fear of mine when I'm cooking) because they cooked it fully in the back before bringing it out and putting it on the grill to finish getting crispy and wonderful. Bianca cooked the foods at our table and let us know when each thing was ready to eat.
My only advice here is not to take it straight from grill to mouth, or you'll burn yourself! Grab things off the grill and put them in your place for a little bit first to avoid that. Or suffer the little burnt tongue bumps and enjoy the tastiness faster! Your choice.
🌾Celiac Considerations:
•Don't freak out when you see the grill and panic about how well they clean off the gluten from other orders; nothing on the menu that goes on the grill contains gluten.
•They don't have a dedicated fryer, so don't get fried foods if you want to avoid gluten cross contact.
•The soy sauce is in a regular Kikkoman bottle, but it's a GF soy sauce.
•The only potential GF dessert is ice cream.
•The bar has plenty of drinks that are GF, if you want to order something.
•Be up front about your GF questions. They are super friendly and willing to accommodate!
Other Allergy Considerations:
🐄Things on the grill are cooked in either butter or margarine, I don't know which. My lactose intolerant husband was fine with those and the stuffed mushrooms, but be aware if you have a dairy allergy.
🌱Their soy sauce is GF, but be aware if you have a soy allergy. It's part of the cooking process that I'm not sure can be substituted or left off, but I'm sure they could tell you if you called and asked.
🦐 Let them know if you're allergic to shellfish, because they do offer that as a grill option.
🥜I didn't see any nuts on the menu anywhere.

The service was excellent. The staff is well-trained, and has an allergen cheat sheet in the back. The owner thinks it is important to provide a place for people to eat even if they have allergies/sensitivities/autoimmune disorders. The food is really tasty, mostly vegetables and meats, and the soy sauce is all gluten free. *Note* they do use old regular soy sauce bottles, but it is filled with a homemade gluten free soy sauce.

This place was so good!! As a person with celiacs I have not eaten hibachi style food since being diagnosed. This establishment had gluten free soy sauce and the majority of the menu was gluten free as it was mainly vegetables rice and meat. I ordered the bulgogi steak and it came with kimchi, bean sprouts, salad, and fried rice all gluten free!! And the sauces were as well the waitress was very nice and double checked everything for me. My friend and I had a lot of fun cooking our own food, but they can also cool for you if you are not into that. Overall loved the place and it was great I was able to order a menu item without accommodations. I highly recommend. The only thing I have to say if they assured me the cook top on the table was not contaminated but you can never be too sure.
UPDATE:
My stomach hurt for awhile afterwards not intense pain but still pain. I also have ibs so that may explain it.

Korean bbq. Mostly meat and veggies. They use GF soy sause in their recipes and use GF ingredients to replace common ones that contain gluten. Staff is excellent and educated. Don't eat the fried food but they offer to bake anything for you instead. Pricey but very tasty and safe. A++
