Isan Thai Restaurant

Isan has been my favorite Thai restaurant in town since I discovered it three years ago. The gf menu items are clearly marked. I like the green or red curries, and I recommend asking for brown rice, which is really a red jasmine rice with a nutty flavor. Staff are friendly and the decor is lovely. Sometimes we eat in and sometimes we get take out.

The menu options are typical Thai. Staff was comfortable answering my GF questions. I felt fine after eating my pad Thai and salad. But I did not find it tasty enough to return.

I got the red curry and it was delicious. They said the fried tofu is made is a wok that’s cleaned with water, so I opted for the soft tofu instead. I had no reaction.
