Island Queen

This place is definitely NOT celiac safe. The employee I talked to said that nothing here is safe and she wouldn’t risk it. She used to work at a gluten-free restaurant and was knowledgeable of cross-contamination. Really disappointed because the other reviews said it’s celiac safe when it’s clearly not. Went here with my boyfriend and by the time we found out it’s not safe for me to eat at, we had to leave to catch the ferry so I left the island hungry. 👎🏼👎🏼

GF bun, but fries are cooked in the same fryer as onion rings and fried chicken so not celiac safe. My burger was yummy though. A bit spendy for what you get.

The owner and other employees were all very friendly and allergy + celiac aware. I ate here twice (burger with GF bun, fries, sriracha mayo, ranch) while visiting the island and had no issues. So delicious!
