I ate here today for lunch. While the majority of their meals are made with corn tortillas they have flour ones available. When i asked at the counter about GF I received a blank stare. I told him i get very sick. Blank stare. There was no way to indicate that folks need to change gloves when making my meal. I don’t really have confidence I won’t be sick later.
I love this place! They use all corn tortillas and only serve wheat tortillas by request. Even their quesadillas are gluten free. They have a veggie mix that they put on tacos or in enchiladas or quesadillas that’s really tasty, so this is a good spot for vegans and vegetarians. But their pinto beans are not vegetarian. I deducted a star because I have had a piece of meat come in my veggie taco before, so they’re not careful about cross contamination of foods, but I think wheat contamination is less likely to occur here because they use so little of it. I’ve eaten here many times and never had an issue. Their salsa bar is amazing—with delicious pickled onions and habanero that I can’t get enough of! Staff are friendly and helpful.
Yummy, I am sensitive to wheat but not Celiac, tacos were awesome, traditional corn, still do not know if the chips are in a shared fryer, but were yummy, I took my chances and did ok.
