Review of Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe

Saw this diner on the app. Went, but waiter wasn't aware of the gluten-free bun availability. He said he had asked the cooks before, and they said they didn't have one. Due to recent reviews, I asked him to double-check with the manager. She said they did have GF buns. My concern was not that the waiter wasn't aware, but that the cooks might not be aware. They were very friendly and accommodating, and in the end my 12 yo got his delicious burger! I'm rating it lower because there is no actual gluten free menu or info to help me feel confident about what to feed my child. Also there was no designated fryer or other GF carb options that I could be sure were GF. But we did love the place and my son said GF bum was awesome! Having the GF bun was enough for me rating them Celiac-Friendly.
