Called to speak with them ahead of time to confirm they have cross contamination measures. Spoke with the restaurant manager Jennifer and she was a doll. Told me all my options and how they could make sure to not have any cross contamination. She said when I get there to let my waiter know and she will handle it. Arrived and staff was very friendly and undertanding. Jennifer came to my table and assured that she called a meeting in the kitchen and had eveyone put on new gloves, sanitize everything, and new cookware. I felt very taken care of and in all honesty like a VIP! I had a salad and my son have the GF mac & cheese. So yummy! Next time I'll be getting the mac and cheese as well. Above and beyond safety and service

Wow! If you go to Jacks you gotta try the GF Mac N Cheese! Specifically the California Mac. It’s not dairy free but holy smokes was it fantastic! The vibe is awesome in this place. They have plenty of GF options and as us Celiacs know, we have to ask, tell, and repeat that we’re Celiacs and can’t have even a trace of gluten. Staff made me feel safe. Didn’t get sick!

Had a great experience and a bit great one! The first was awesome waitress knew exactly what to do when I mentioned I had Celiac, as well as mentioned owners wife had it as well! Had the burger and Mac both were amazing! Second not so much waitress was new so gave her a little leeway but ordered the exact same thing, and when the burger came out, it had a regular bun not gluten-free and it freaked me out!

I've eaten here 10+ times and have never gotten sick. I have severe celiac and always communicate that to the server -- I've even asked to speak to the restaurant manager for an extra layer of safety. Their pastas and soups are incredible!

There is definitely a disclaimer with this place. It truly depends which employee you get because I spoke to 1 that didn’t even know they had a gluten free menu and the manager I spoke with wasn’t sure if her kitchen knew how to prepare the gluten free food. But upon her asking, she told me the kitchen manager is fully aware of how to prepare the gluten free food and keeps it in a separate area. It’s nice to know that the kitchen staff is aware.

My personal experience last night was great. I sat in the bar area and had an amazing waiter who knew to check with the kitchen about preparing the food separately and he checked that my dish was made with the gluten free pasta before I took a bite. He even gladly checked the brand name of the olive oil for me so I could look it up (I’ve reacted to a ton of olive oils). He assured me many times that I wouldn’t get sick and made me feel super comfortable. I sadly didn’t get his name but he was tall with a beard and said he had been there for years. I got the spaghetti with clams substituted with gluten free penne and it was amazing. I didn’t react at all. Even their creme brûlée is gluten free!

I took initiative and called ahead since I saw the other reviews and wanted to get a better idea. I spoke with the manager and she told me they do the best they can by preparing food separately and keeping everyone aware. I made a reservation, and the manager made sure to keep in contact with me throughout the night. Although there weren’t too many GF options, I did have the house salad with their vinaigrette and GF Mac and cheese and did not get sick. I would go back again, as my server and the manager were thoughtful.

They take gluten free very seriously. Talked with one of the managers, and he explained that if someone specifies gluten free, a manager is notified, and they make sure all protocols are followed, fresh gloves, clean utensils and such. I suggested that like PF Changs, they also use a different plate design in order to make very clear to the waiter which plate is GF to avoid mixing them up in delivery. He liked the idea and is exploring it. A pretty extensive GF menu and it was good.

Celiac friendly with a disclaimer. I’ve eaten here three times and did not get sick. I always order pasta and give them instructions to use clean utensils and prepare in a clean area away from gluten. That being said, they definitely have a CYA attitude here because their menu states that gluten free items may contain gluten because it’s a shared kitchen. The manager came out and told me the same thing last time I ate here. They dredge dishes in flour and make pizza here. I am very sensitive and have been ok eating the pasta when they take special precautions. The food is really great and they have excellent service. I think their kitchen is large enough for it to be ok, but I understand not wanting to be sued.

Food was awesome but I was severely glutened. The person that brought the food out did not say, "gf whatever".

Wow! Is all I can say at first. Lots of GF choices and ALL taste incredible. Server was very knowledgeable. They did goof on my mussels and put bread on top but it was caught immediately and the dish was remade. The manager came out and check and comp'd the dish. We will be going back often.

I eat gluten free and dairy free and they were very careful. The staff was knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. I had the gluten free Tutto Mare. It was delicious.

Excellent menu, pot de Creme was to die for and felt great afterward!

The service was really good, the food was great and all the staff know about the gluten free items they serve , and we got the gf chocolate cake, we also order coffee and tea just to stay longer, the environment was peaceful even though was a 49`s game inside, but the waiter gave us a table in the terrace, we totally recommend it .

Great GF menu. I had the pasta and it was great. Knowledgeable server and she spoke with the chef re my paranoid concerns. 4 stars due to the noise decimals it was very loud. Not a place for romance. Highly recommend.

Excellent! Diversified menu, more choices. Fresh & delicious. Light to heavy meals, your choice. Salads, meats, BEST Recipe SHRIMP COCKTAIL EVER, Mac & Cheeses (Multiple varieties, made from corn noodles). Chocolate Torte & Butterscotch Crème Bruele to die for. Great bar!
