Nice that my celiac husband had some gf options. For appetizer we had shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps that were delicious. He had the mahi tacos. He said the taco shells needed to be a little crispier but flavor was good. I had the mushroom stack with blackened shrimp that was very tasty. Our son had the savory bread pudding dinner. I didn't particularly like the sangria... tasted a little like it had powdered lemonade? Beautiful location. Sat on the outside patio. We will definitely go back!

My brother-in-law‘s birthday was to have dinner at Jaco’s. I checked the reviews and they were not that good however, they were about two years old. Our server, Taylor, was amazing. There were about five things on the menu that was marked gluten-free however, I asked her if I brought my own hamburger bun if they would do a cheeseburger for me. She said absolutely, and came back a few minutes later and said that the chef would toast my bun if I wanted it which I did. Gotta tell you the burger was amazing. Service was amazing and I will be returning.

I would not recommend this place. They do not have a gluten free menu. They only have three items that could be made gluten free. So you would have to trust the staff to relay to the cooks that it needs to be Gluten free.

I’ve tried this place twice. I’ve gotten sick twice. And, the wait staff and manager seemed annoyed. This place is a NO!

This place shouldn't be listed on here. There is not much gluten free and definitely not celiac here. There's items that "could" be made gluten free, however those items are slim and none, one being a $40 filet and the next being $20 for some mushrooms. If you're using this app to find a gluten free place in Pensacola, search nearby there's better places 2 minutes away.
I informed the waiter that I was gluten intolerant due to Celiac Disease. The waiter was unsure if they had gluten free items. I ordered off the brunch menu. I did not see any indication of gluten free items. I ordered fried eggs and potatoes. Again, I told the waiter no bread or grits because of gluten intolerance. My order came with cold unbutteted wheat toast on top of my eggs. My daughter removed the toast and I ate the eggs.... shortly after I had the reaction which lasted several days. Never again. Aside from becoming ill the food was cold and really not very good. We had a party of 6 adults and 2 children with cocktails, too expensive for a few and poor food.
This place was wonderful! The view is absolutely impeccable! It's right next to the marina in downtown pensecola! I got the portabella stacks with shrimp! It was very delicious, but the portions are a little small. So you may want to also get an appetizer. The waiter was very knowledgeable about what was safe and what was not and when he wasn't sure he went and checked with the kitchen staff!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the portion was small, but I did not have a reaction to the food and I felt very safe and well taken care of!

Menu had recently been redesigned, and GF items had a "~" next to them with a disclaimer that these items *could be made* GF. No kids items were listed on the menu at all. Now, when I spoke to the waitresses, they were fairly knowledgeable on how to use a clean skillet to fry a "clean" burger to avoid cross contamination... so, all in all they were ok, but it required you to speak to the waitstaff to clarify what all of your options are because the menu was not very all inclusive.
GF items called out on menu. Our server checked with the chef on a couple of items we had questions about. Portions a bit small but the setting right on the marina is very pretty. We would eat here again

Beautiful view! Gf menu clearly marked. My food was very good, hubby's pork tenderloin over cooked and underseasoned.
Excellent food. Menu showed exactly what was gluten free. Service was great...view awesome! Highly recommend. I had fish tacos, yummy !!!!

The view is lovely. The food was good (really enjoyed Mahi Mahi tacos), but I expected more local, fresh fish options considering its location. Not very kid friendly. Gluten free was clearly marked on the menu and the server had a reasonable understanding of what gluten actually is, however the salad was brought out with croutons on it.

Great location, atmosphere and food. Pet friendly outdoor dining also.
The portobello stack was delicious. They have quite a few gfree options to chose from. The mahi tacos looked really good - will have to try them next time!
Great view of the water and a gluten free menu. I had the portobello stack with risotto and it was very tasty. Jaco's has mostly salads on their gf menu, but there are enough alternate options to make it worth a try.
Fantastic restaurant that indicates gluten free items directly on their regular menu. Love their tender blue salad, without the fried onion strings of course. Their food is excellent. They used to have gluten free flatbreads but don't have them anymore. :( And they accidentally served my brother a flatbread made with gluten so I don't know how well their servers understand the issue. But I've never had a problem with their other gluten free dishes. Highly recommend the tender blue salad! (Without the onion strings!)
