The Dale Cafe at the Jamestowne Experience checks when you order if you have gluten allergies or if it is a preference. They have separate cutting boards and utensils for gluten free sandwiches. Food was delicious and the view can’t be beat!

Lots of gf options and even packaged gf cookies! My celiac daughter said the beef stew was delicious! She would have felt sick by now if it weren’t truly GF and she is doing great!
I spoke to one of the people who runs the Cafe, who also runs the restaurant “2nd Street Bistro”. He was incredibly knowledgeable in regards to Celiac and assured that everything is made separately and even has utensils dedicated to gluten free food. He even made a joke when I asked the common question,”well even though the ingredients are gluten free, is it prepared safely for Celiac’s?” He responded by saying,”Then it wouldn’t be gluten free” lol. They also have options for soups and chili which I thought was pretty cool. All their options, while there aren’t many, are listed in bold letters on the menu and for a museum, even one safe option is a great feeling for a Celiac!
