What a fun dining experience! The owner, Angel, walks around and talks to all customers. The food not only tastes like authentic Mexican food, but the ambience matches it too. My daughter loved the choices of GF. Almost all of the entrees can be made GF and they are well marked. The chips were so thick and tasted so good, I asked twice if they were corn and not flour. They have a dedicated fryer and staff is amazing at knowing about cross contamination. This is the best Mexican food we have had! The food is amazing, the experience is fun and the staff is excellent. 5 stars whether you are GF or not! Support this locally owned restaurant…you will be happy you did!

Exceeded my expectations! I stopped in for take-out since I was in Monument (a rarity). I ordered the chicken fajitas with their corn tortillas and they flagged it as celiac for me. I finally got to eat it after getting home (40 min ride) and I was in heaven. I've never had corn tortillas like theirs, they are thick but also seem so perfect and hearty. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Everything on the plate had top-notch flavor. I can't wait to go back with the hubby.

I’ve eaten here several times and haven’t had an issue (relatively sensitive). They have a dedicated fryer for chips and can guide you on what sauces to avoid. The staff is fantastic!

Such great food and lots of options. Tacos, enchilladas, appetizers and more. Their menu is labeled, and servers are fairly knowledgeable or will ask the kitchen. Their chips ARE in a separate fryer and all of the fried items can be made separately, such as their fried pork. Ask questions and let them know you can do shared fryer and they will accommodate!

Felt safe trying this place after reading all the positive reviews. The food was pretty good but ended up getting sick - not sure if it was the chips, enchiladas, or sides. I would avoid this place if you are also very sensitive.

I love Jarrito Loco. The chips, tacos, flautas, nachos, and flan are all amazing.

One of the owners and their daughter are celiac, and if the server isn’t sure about contamination risk - they can ask either of the owners, Angie or Angel. Wonderful family, we love all the staff and know almost all of them by name. Dedicated fryer for chips. Most consistent, authentic Mexican food we have found in CO. Great margaritas. Many, many GF options! The chuletas pork chops, or the chicken enchiladas with corn tortillas smothered with chuletas sauce is one of my families favorites (not on menu but you can ask for it!) xoxo

Really enjoyed the food! Since they moved to their new location they have a dedicated fryer so the chips are celiac safe! The enchiladas aren’t marked gluten free but I asked about them, they’ll fry them In the dedicated fryer and all but two sauces are gluten free. For gluten free options and safety I would say 5 stars but because it’s expensive, service was extremely slow, and they got my order wrong (I ordered cheese enchiladas and they gave me chicken, they prob would have fixed the issue but we’d waited so long to order and for our food to come out I didn’t want to wait any longer), I only am giving the review 4 stars. Happy hour all day week days in the bar area- $6 house margs were good.

We enjoyed our food and service! Wish they had a dedicated separate fryer for gluten free celiac safe chips - otherwise excellent!!!

Best restaurant ever. I have never gotten sick here from cross contamination and they work so hard to make sure my meal is perfect and gluten free!
