This place is SO GOOD. it’s like if chipotle was actually good but you can also get fish in your burritos, breakfast burritos and good coffee. I told them I was celiac and they made me fresh chicken, changed gloves, new utensils and got everything they could from a fresh container from the back. Good food and great employees!

Food was great and cross contamination was fully understood. It seems like some other people have had issues with cross contamination but when I told them I had celiacs and could not eat gluten they changed gloves and gave me all my toppings from the prepped containers that had not been used yet. They did forget a couple of the toppings I asked for but they were in the middle of a rush hour and got my order correct for the most part and it was delicious either way.

Definitely no way to avoid CC as every time they scoop food on to a burrito, the spoon comes in contact with the burrito and then they put the spoon back in…..which contaminates everything in the container. They can change their gloves all day long, but you’re still going to get sick. I should have known better. Had one of their bowls for lunch and was very sick.

Staff will change gloves for an allergy, but didn't seem to grasp the concept of avoiding cc. They took some items from the back/off the line, but not all. Did not feel safe eating here, gave my order to my non-celiac husband and went to Publix instead. Disappointing! It was around 7pm on a weeknight and not that busy.

Very great food! I am gluten free and dairy free. They had great gluten free bowls and gluten free chips. It was easy to stay away from cheese and sour cream. They offer a great vinegarette dressing for the bowls!

My first visit I let them know I was Celiac. The person immediately changed gloves and handled my order for a bowl. For items where they use their hands (cheese and lettuce) they pulled a fresh container from the refrigerator for my order. I went back a second time and same experience. The person with my order had to stop and handle another order so covered my bowl and then changed gloves before coming back to my order. Impressed with the care they took to help ensure my bowl was kept safe.

Great gf bowl and great flavor. I did a veggie bowl so didn’t try any meat. They do NOT skimp on quantity. My husband, who isn’t gf, had a steak burrito and loved it.

Courteous and patient staff, especially with all the COVID requirements

Everything is gluten free except for the burritos. They will change their gloves for an allergy.

All of the buffet options are gluten free and the food is delicious! I am very sensitive to gluten and I have eaten there many times and have never gotten sick. The food is amazing, favorite gluten free burrito/mexican place on the island!

Went to eat here while on vacation. I have Celiac, and after reading some of the other reviews my husband asked the guy to heat up my corn tortillas using foil on the warmer to avoid cross contamination from the flour tortillas. The guy asked one of the other girls that finished my tacos to change gloves first before she finished with me. Only reason I gave 3 stars was because she kinda gave an attitude because she had to change her gloves after being asked by her co-worker and gave me a look. The tacos were ok.

I think I would have been safe had I gotten a bowl or salad. My husband ordered me tacos with corn tortillas but i didn't realize until afterwards that they heated the tortillas in the same press where they also heat the Flour tortillas. I got slightly sick due to the cross contamination.

Excellent selection of gluten free options. Our server happened to have a sister with celiac. He changed his gloves and got any ingredients that could potentially be cross contaminated from the back. Loved it here before we had a celiac family member. Love it even more now!

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the need to change gloves and get items from the refrigerator where there would be no cross contamination. This is some of the most delicious food on the island and is always a stop for us when visiting Hilton Head.
