No understanding whatsoever about gluten free or celiac. Put fries from an undedicated frier on my salad (!) and when I explained again that I was celiac, they took the salad back and just took fries off…they did not bring me a new salad without fry crumbs. So disappointing. Ended up with nothing to eat.

Celiac folks, be alert!! We stopped here after researching and believing there was safe GF food. It is very off the beaten path and we drove way out of our way off the highway to get to it.
A very close call to my my celiac teen being ill. She was served a fried piece of cod, not broiled as the GF menu indicates. Waitress even said she wondered how she could have a fried dish when they can’t serve French fries, yet instead of checking with the kitchen before serving, she served it anyway.
Luckily we are aware enough to notice mistakes and she took it back. Sure enough, it was NOT GF. She said chef apologized (but yet he himself did not come out of the kitchen) and that the cook is young and newly hired. She herself said she hadn’t worked there long….only a year. Seriously?? How long does one need to work at a place to know the difference between fried and broiled fish? They comped my daughter’s meal.
The broiled fish they remade her was just a plain piece of fish, no veg or garnish, sitting on a plate soaked in butter. Not appetizing at all and given the scare, my daughter barely touched it. This is completely lack of staff training. To have an extensive GF menu and no one knows what is safe? I will be writing to the restaurant on this one and would never recommend eating here. Even our non-GF food for others at the table was very sub par quality. Zero stars if I could.

Stopped after visiting the Flight 94 Memorial, and very glad we found it! The gluten free menu has plenty of great choices from appetizers to dessert! The food is farm to table and it was all good. Don't miss the peanut butter pie. Yes, it's gluten free!

What a pleasant surprise a short drive off the turnpike. We had spinach artichoke dip- yum, filet mignon “sandwich”, bison burger, and peanut butter pie. Both sandwiches really needed a bun to elevate them but were delicious pieces of meat. The peanut butter pie was so good we had to move our rating up from 4.5 to 5. They even shared the pie recipe with us.

The food here is incredible! There is a separate gluten free menu with plenty of choices. I had the Bonnet Salad with Filet Minion and the house dressing. I would eat this every day if I could. It's a bit of a drive off the expressway, but SO worth it!

The gf menu was huge. I ordered the crab and shrimp dip appetizer with tortilla chips. They are not made in house. They are from a bag. I also had salmon and baked potato. Everything was absolutely amazing. They also have a gift shop and goats. This is a historical tavern built in the 1700’s. It’s very cool. Enjoy!
