I was so excited to visit again; my first experience was during pregnancy and I have been dreaming of the goat cheese cherry ice cream ever since. Sadly, my visit was a big disappointment. The current staff needs allergy training ASAP. I asked for an allergy scoop, explaining I needed GF ice cream that had not been contaminated but a scoop that had touched a cone. After some back and forth with other staff and some rude remarks about me, the young employee disappeared, presumably to get the unopened tub. He returned about 10 min later, proceeds to try and scoop the very frozen container, which I understand isn’t easy. None of the employees were wearing gloves, they were not wearing hats or hairnets. After about 10 min, they employee tries to hand me the tiniest dish of ice cream, topped with a waffle cone. Sigh. I said no, and he said “you don’t want it? “ I really shouldn’t have to explain why this is a problem. Again, more muttering from the employee and snotty comments from the team. I would have just walked out, but I had already paid; had already been waiting for about 15 min, and really didn’t want to hold anyone up so I could be refunded. At this point I was embarrassed and sad. I finally got my ice cream, but noticed that the employee didn’t wash his hands before handling my food, touching gluten, and not even wearing gloves before scooping my ice cream for the second time. I probably should have just left. Stupidly, I ate it. I have now been sick for the last 24 hrs, with no end in sight. I expect better from a company that is supposed to be allergy aware. When we were here before; we had no issues, and I have no issues in Durham, NC. Sadly, it seems that the training and service has gone down hill. If you have Celiac, I would probably stay away.

It's good. I've had pints from the grocery store, and honestly they were better than what I got here. I got the gooey butter cake, and the cake bits in it were so dry they were grainy and rough. Way over priced. Grateful for the gluten free options, though there's no gf cone.

Delicious ice cream! They will get ice cream from an untouched carton in the back for anything GF they have available. I got the gooey butter cake and it sure was good. Busy spot, but worth the wait for some safe ice cream.

The ice cream is creamy and delicious. And when we mentioned celiac, the employee immediately offered to get a fresh scoop from a separate tub of ice cream. There are a number of GF flavors, including a birthday cake one!

All gf ice cream is marked. They will open a new carton and use a clean scoop if you ask them. You need to watch to make sure they don't put a waffle chip on your bowl.

Jeni’s has tons of delicious options! Flavors are clearly labeled, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Make sure to tell them about your allergy so they can use a clean scoop and skip the waffle piece that’s included!

Best ice cream I’ve had in awhile - the gooey butter cake flavor is gluten free and delicious even if you can eat gluten! But for my husband it was quite a treat. Totally worth waiting on line for this flavor!

Major cross contamination issues. If you have celiac, either get them to open a new container or buy a prepackaged pint. Delicious ice cream, but anxiety inducing.

Ice Cream is great and flavors are cleaely marked GF, however they use the same scooper in GF and non GF flavors. Lots of CC. We took our chances that rinsing the scooper between flavors would be enough but my daughter was ill and rashy after. They no longer had prepacked ice cream sandwiches.

Super cute cosmic themed 🥰 ice cream 🍦 shop! Request a new scoop. The staff is super accommodating. All ice cream is labeled gf and or df! Lots of fun flavors to choose from.

They also have space dust - rice crisp topping that’s gf - definitely add it on!

This place is a chain that started in Ohio, it has lots of gf flavor options (even things that don’t seem like it, including gooey butter cake!) and good allergen procedures in place to avoid cross contamination. Staff knows what to do if you just tell them you have an allergy.
