We are fans of Jersey Mike's, but given this one was in an airport we were a little hesitant. After all, we knew that if my daughter was going to have a reaction, it would be in the middle of a flight! My daughter spoke with the manager about what precautions are taken and she was comfortable placing an order. They changed their gloves, wiped down the slicer, and placed wrappers on the counter to protect against cross contamination. The sandwich was delicious, and there was no hint of any reaction to gluten!

My 5 year old and I ate at Jersey Mike's in terminal A on 2-15-2020 & I'm glad to say it was a success! We had never been there before, I didn't know they had gluten free food, but they changed gloves and got my mayo from a bottle in the back and bacon from a new pan. Also, the portions were pretty big compared to other sub shops we used to eat at.

The staff knew to change gloves and put out new covering for the area they made the subs on. They even knew to use the squeeze bottle of mayo instead of the container with the knife without us asking. Looks like they were well trained.

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
