They ask if gluten-free is an allergy or "preference. " Of course I tell them allergy. They're pretty slow about it, but they do clean the counter, wipe down the meat slicer, put paper down, have dedicated mayo that's in a squeeze bottle. I do feel it's safe, and if you're craving a sub, go for it. The first time i was so happy to have a sandwich i thought it was amazing! The next time reality set in and the bread is dry. I pay extra, it's not great, and I usually take off the top bun. Still, you can go to a normal place and feel safe, if you're firm it's an allergy!
