The staff wipes everything down changes the knife and their gloves. I usually bring my own mayo packets or use some at home because it is a shared container with the same knife that has touched gluten, but other than that everything else is okay. If you are really scared of gluten in the toppings they might grab you some from the back, they have had to for me sometimes when they don’t think it’s safe. They are really nice and will try to accommodate you accordingly.

I was in town for work and everyone ordered together. I called ahead and stressed that I needed gluten free and dairy free. I asked them to add bacon. My sandwich was delivered with cheese melted all over the contents. No bacon. I didn’t have lunch.

My experience at Jersey Mike’s was good I have celiacs and I have eaten at several even in California never had a reaction and I do have to carry a epi pen because my reaction is swelling of eyes, mouth and throat.
Love the separate prep area.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sub chain I trust to eat food from. They clean all equipment, change gloves, and get toppings from the back for my sandwich on gluten free udis sub. They have gluten free packaged snickerdoodles for dessert.
