Now called Jose and Sons. A lot of GF labeled items are not GF (ex. Flautas). Staff is knowledgable of cross-contamination - Fried items share oil with flour/battered items. I am certain other methods of cross-contamination are not paid attention. Menu needs to be edited OR the owners need to get a dedicated fryer for GF/corn items. This would be great for them as they could legitimately offer GF chips and a broader GF menu. A little staff education and preparation/ingredient changes will put them over the top. Cool vibe and kind staff, but beware cross-contamination. I'll update when I visit again next month.
Nearly the entire menu is naturally gluten-free! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I had the pescado tacos with Cole slaw and black beans. Delicious!
