SO SO GOOD!! My family all has a gluten allergy including celiacs for some of us. The food was delicious! It would be nice if they had gf bread especially for those biscuits they bring out but everything we ate was very good! The waitress helped me figure out how to order from the kids menu since nothing was gf. Meat was all delicious. I got brisket, husband got smoked wings, one kid got smoked turkey and others got the bbq chicken.

If you like barbecue, you’ll love this place! Menu is clearly marked with GF, atmosphere is great and our server was well versed in GF & cross contamination. Highly recommend. Many delicious choices!

I'm celiac and get very sick if I come in contact with Gluten. I had their barbecue pork, chicken, baked beans and slaw. Had no issues.

I have been a customer of Jim and Nicks for years. I like that the food is of good quality, consistent, and simple. I stick with the smoked chicken or turkey and a side salad. Always good, I leave full with some to take home and I have never gotten sick. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about GF. They always double check with the kitchen to make sure “nothing has changed” since my last visit. My husband is a fan of the smoked wings and the kids love the pulled pork with plenty of “sides.” I recommend Jim and Nicks if you are or aren’t GF!

The staff is so knowledgeable about what is safe to eat. I had no cross-contamination issues. They are awesome!
Yes
No gluten free menu, but there were some items that could be made gluten free. Knowledgeable staff. I got a cheeseburger with no bun and some mashed potatoes. They were delicious, and I did not get sick afterwards.
Yes
The food was amazing and almost everything was gluten free. We had the pork plate with mashies and baked beans and sweet BBQ. Will eat here again. Staff was very knowledgeable.
I was hopeful to get a new restaurant that had “gluten friendly” options, but sadly I had a reaction here. I’m not celiac but still pretty sensitive to gluten. I ordered the Brisket Chili and Coleslaw. When I asked to have “gluten allergy” placed on the order for the kitchen to be aware, they didn’t seem to know how to handle this request. The customer service was great and everyone was very nice, but would not recommend going if you have a gluten intolerance or sensitivity. ☹

This place is great - Gluten free are marked on the menu. They also have a warning in the menu that the GF items are prepared in a kitchen shared with wheat and cross contamination could occur.
The waitstaff is knowledge able and the kitchen worked with us.

Celiac here. Menu was marked- yay! So much gluten free. Had the turkey, white bbq sauce, potato salad and collard greens. Best bbq I’ve had. Very attentive and nice wait staff. Recommend!

My husband really loves barbecue, and with this location having gluten-free items displayed on their menu; I thought we would try this place. I noticed that they have outside seating and a bar inside. They bring cheese muffins out when you are seated. I ordered 2 appetizers, a soup and salad, and a potatoe. For some reason, all the food came out at once while I had sat waiting, watching my husband eat the yummy biscuits that I couldn't eat. The food was delicious, but I was frustrated that they brought all the food out at once and didn't even bring the appetizers out as the appetizer. Next time I am in Hiram, we will try this again and maybe I will get to try the barbecue.
