Again tons of items on the menu can be made gluten free, I think the only thing that isn’t is the pasta dishes and some of the dessert options. We enjoyed the sticky date pudding dessert both time we dined here. The mussels are delicious.

Vacationed recently in Charlottetown. We ate here two nights because daughter is celiac. Food and service was great! Many dishes are GF or can be made GF. Separate GF fryer and almost all of the desserts are GF too. Staff and kitchen seemed very knowledgeable and my daughter had no issues here. Great place!

Really good! Separate fryer! I had a vegetarian eggplant dish and a side of sweet potato fries. My husband had the muscles (3 sauces to choose from) and a beet salad with goat cheese, cranberries etc.

My daughter is celiac and we came here twice on our visit to PEI because of the abundance of options for her to choose from. She had fries, pizza and fish during our visits.

The staff was good and the restaurant was nice. We ate out on a patio with live music the gluten-free menu was pretty good choices but we got a chicken burger with pineapple chutney and french fries the chicken burger was probably the worst burger I've ever had in my life and my husband said the same thing. It was just absolutely terrible and we've eaten there for years. I don't know why it was terrible but it was just terrible

Almost everything on menu can be made Gf (except the pasta and veg burger.)even the kids menu!! We had 2 great experiences here, travelling w our kids (3 and 6). Kids had pizza and chicken strips (crispy lightly battered, not processed). Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere.

Great fish and chips with no reaction. Also no soy in fish batter and helpful on phone. To avoid mix up with a gluten fish and chips order for my party, they prepared two GF fish and chip orders and GF was very tasty for my gluten eating party member.

Not a dedicated kitchen but our server informed us that there was only one item on the menu that couldn’t be made gluten free. Wife (celiac) had the haddock salad, I had the smoked meat sandwich (not GF) and Caesar salad. Heated patio was packed, great atmosphere on this bustling street for a late supper after dark.

Our family ate here last night- almost everything was gluten free on the menu, as was the deep fryer. 2/5 of us have Celiac - all our meals ended up being gluten free! Was wonderful!

Visiting Charlottetown from Ontario and met up with friends. Weather didn’t allow us to eat at the Chip Shack (which is our gf go to) so we took a chance and tried out John Brown. We now have another celiac safe go to! The lobster roll was delicious (minus the tomatoes cause I’m a purist. Tomatoes don’t belong on a lobster roll. Haha). Fish & chips, steak...wonderful. The fryers are dedicated gf. In fact, almost everything in the kitchen is and the staff is very well versed in avoiding cross contamination. Everyone enjoyed their meals, even the non-celiacs. Highly recommend.

First "real" fish and chips since I went GF. Very good. Menu clearly states what can be done GF.

Loved this place. At ease w celiac disease as most items are either already gf or easily converted. Delicious burgers, lobster rolls and fish and chips.
Yes
Almost everything can be made gluten-free and it's written right on the menu. Much of the menu is already gluten-free. I had the seafood chowder and they served it with gf bread (toasted on a separate grill). It was a large portion and really good. Lots of stuff looked great so will need to go back. Several different ciders available as well.

Almost the entire menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free. Great food, great staff. Very good live music at night. Will definitely go here again when visiting PEI.
Absolutely amazing, everything but pie can be GF

The manager told us that most of the menu can be made gluten free. They have a separate fryer and have fish and chips available. Plenty of other menu items as well like sandwiches, burgers, steak, etc. Great atmosphere and server very knowledgable.
