Jojo's Shave Ice

All jojo ices and ice cream are gf (as of June 2023) but the hanalei store says they are not safe. They don’t understand what gf is and don’t want to take the trouble To learn. We skipped it in hanalei but tried again in Kapaa and found out the truth. Use your best judgement. We loved the shaved ice and macadamia but ice cream.

Just went. Was told they had absolutely nothing that was gluten free. Ended up having to leave empty handed.

We asked if any of the syrups were gluten free and they said no… I don’t know if they were just super busy and I was also questioning about dairy free options (everything except the ice cream and other ‘creams’) were dairy free, so it’d be worth re-checking!

This place was amazing, I have celiac and had no problems it was the best shaved ice!

I order the coconut and the rainbow with the macadamia ice cream on two separate trips. I told the staff about Celiac and they were clear about it being gluten free. It was delicious and I did not get sick.

We notified them of celiac and they were very knowledgeable, two of the employees were gluten-free or have a family member who has celiac. We ordered shave ice with coconut, Hawaiian lemonade, blue Hawaiian, and papaya. Shave ice was great! Girlfriend did not explode.
