Owner was rude- we were rushed to order- while there was gf bread it was tiny and the price was just not worth it. Will not return….

Where to start… this is a tiny town so you would assume there would be no gluten-free options but then comes in the Jolly Kone. It seemed odd to have a gluten-free option in such a small town but honestly we believe that the owner is doing it just so that she can have great options to as a celiac herself. She has so many options from corndogs to chili things that you haven’t had in a while. If you are a celiac and want the true drive-in experience this is a great option for you.

Wonderful food and felt very safe! The owner is very nice. She makes the buns fresh every morning for those who can eat gluten. I had a salad that was wonderful and a burger on a bed of lettuce. The meat was amazing! Will definitely go back anytime I am in the area.

I’ve eaten here many times while visiting family in the area. I’m celiac and have never had any issue what so ever. Dawn is very careful and will even make you a milk shake, which is very rare in a place that serves Oreo shakes. She takes the time to clean the milk shake maker so well that she can make a GF shake for you, no problem! The food is good and it’s also the only safe place you’ll find to eat in this remote part of California.

Amazing! Hand formed burgers on a toasted gluten free sandwich bread. Our new must stop for eats on road trips! Skip Klamath Falls and Susanville to eat here.
This place was awesome. The owner is Celiac so she can make almost anything on the menu gf. Lots of options with a dedicated fryer. She was friendly and usually has gf homemade bake goods as well. I would be in heaven if it was closer to where I live. We were just passing through.

It was wonderful to run into this gem along Hwy 139 between Alturas, Calif, and Klamath Falls, Oregon, in the little town of Tulelake. The owner, Dawn, is celiac and is the only cook & baker. It is a mixed facility but Dawn is very sensitive herself and is very careful about cross contamination. Great all-day GF menu, including breakfast. We enjoyed a hearty omelet with toast & hash browns, and biscuits & gravy with eggs. All wonderful.
