When Joyland first opened, I ate there a handful of times with no issues. Most of the menu is available gluten free, including some of the fries and the fried chicken. However, last time I went there a few days ago, the place had completely gone downhill. The cashier taking our order was completely apathetic and clearly did not want to be there. I asked if they still had a separate space for cooking the gluten free items and she said yes without hesitating or double checking anything. Behind her, I could see the two guys working the grill and was not at all confident that there was actually a safe spot on the grill based on what I saw. We ended up getting a refund and leaving, because cross contact was clearly not a concern for the staff, and i felt extremely uncomfortable with the environment and risk I would be taking.
