The smoothie I had was delicious, but Vineyard pricing! I also had an heirloom tomato toast with arugula that was just okay.

I went back the next day for the Sunrise smoothie again. But it was $17, and I’m old enough to feel like that’s too expensive!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Good

Right by the ferries! Had a late breakfast. Our Celiac had an açaí bowl and I could see they use Bob Red Mill’s GF granola. I had a VLT sandwich and the hubby had the pink avo toast. Both weren’t huge (clearly GF bread!) but were tasty.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

Dedicated gluten-free and vegan café with sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, smoothies, coffee, various to-go options, and more. Menu seems to change often as the owner experiments with new options. During the summer they also seem to host a “pop-up dinner” or similar events about once a month where they serve special meals. Prices can be a little high for the portion size but the food is good and it seems to be the safest place to eat on the island.
