Review of Julian Serrano Tapas

Waitress confidently recommended menu items that were GF, what could be modified to be GF & she even shared w/us areas where potential cross-contamination could possibly occur in the kitchen during prep. We felt very comfortable w/her knowledge base & guidance. The pork tacos arrived, I took one bite and I knew it was a flour tortilla though our waitress confirmed it was corn. I proceeded to eat & really should have trusted my gut (no pun intended). She came back 5 minutes later to apologize & let me know that it was indeed a flour tortilla. She said they were corn, switched to wheat & thought they switched back to corn. Waitstaff & kitchen must communicate (better) to avoid these kinds of serious blunders. Restaurant manager was apologetic, though demonstrated no sincerity over the situation. Alas, getting sick on vacation is never fun. My girlfriends enjoyed their food, however, this unfortunate turn of events dampened the festive TGIF mood.
