This restaurant has marked GF items on the menu that are NOT GF because of the ingredients not just cross contamination risk.

Actively used menus differ with GF mark depending on which one you get.

Chef/Manager (could be owner)/wait staff had no idea what ingredients contained gluten. Crispy Duck Tacos are listed GF but ingredients list hoisen sauce. Tacos came out on flour tortillas so I called attention to it with the server and then asked about the hoisen. She went to kitchen and came back with "They can make the tacos in a lettuce wrap and the chef said the hoisen has on trace amounts of gluten." Hoisen was NOT gluten free. I then asked about the pork belly (which was not listed GF) and she said "I know they are gluten free because someone else asked about them." They have a sesame viniagrette listed as an ingredient which was more like an asian bbq sauce. I asked how that was GF, she asked the chef again and came back with "they are usually made with soy sauce but he made them GF for you." No he didn't. I wasn't sure if there was soy sauce in them but they tasted just like a Chinese BBQ spare rib sauce.

I also had the Short Ribs which are listed GF but an ingredient is DEMI GLACE. Demi can sometimes be made with a base sauce containing flour. Manager/owner finally came over and told me the DEMI is not made traditionally with flour and the menus are wrong with their GF indications.

I found one more item (General Tso's Cauliflower) listed as GF but could contain gluten if made as usual. Gen Tso's sauce is also traditionally made with soy sauce.

Chef, Manager, and server said the soy is not GF soy or tamari.

Don't trust this place. If they can't get their printed menu listings right I can't imagine how they are too conerned about cross contamination.

Food was good. Very pricey. Server was exceptional and apologetic. Manager did not care about my allergy and just covered up for all the mistakes.

JUST restaurant is UNSAFE for celiacs.
