They can make sandwiches, wraps, and paninis with gluten free bread and wraps. While there is the risk of cross contamination, they can put foil over the panini press, clean the utensils and workstations, and change gloves (I would ask). Toaster is not gluten-free. (As of July 2023). They often or always have gluten free baked goods from a separate company (Treat in Wenham), and are wrapped at the company and stored at the counter away from the gluten goods. As of July 2023 I have been to the Danvers location many times and the Beverly location once. At Beverly, the staff seemed well-informed, and I had a sandwich there. I haven’t done sandwiches in Danvers but I plan to.
