Kahuna

Staff fairly knowledgeable about what is and isn’t gluten free. They have a list behind the counter of which toppings are gluten free. They were unsure of the spicy tuna. They had separate kahuna and ponzu sauces which are gluten free available. I had the kahuna which was delicious…just the right amount of spicy.

I couldn’t find any information about their gluten free items online, but in the store the staff walked me through which of their sauces they have gluten free versions of available in the back. I got the ponzu sauce which was delicious. However, definitely be careful about some of the premade toppings- the staff who otherwise seemed knowledgeable about what was gluten free suggested I add the seaweed salad which I didn’t realize had a premade sauce in it (I think they buy it this way so he didn’t know either). Unfortunately there must have been regular soy sauce in that bc I felt unwell pretty quickly after eating the bowl. Really delicious taste and seemed otherwise safe, but just be cautious of what ingredients you are adding.

Their poke is very good and they have gluten free versions of their sauces made with tamari. Each of the bowls is made to order in clean mixing bowls with clean utensils.
