Kamal's was a reading terminal favorite until my last trip. After several prior meals with a gf wrap on the delicious lamb shawarma without issue, I got glutened my most recent trip there. Disappointing, because the food is outstanding (including the lemonade, which is the best I've ever had and which I would consider getting again, since I suspect the cross-contamination was food-related and not drink-related)

I did the chicken kabob plate with no pita. They brought the pita out originally (and even though it was wrapped), offered me a new fork. Seem knowledgeable about cross contamination. Great Greek salad and humus! Rice was okay. Will be trying a gyro next (they have gluten free wraps!)

I ordered the chicken and lamb shawarma! It was just ok for flavor but I don’t feel sick so, for that, it’s awesome.

Was lucky enough to stumble upon Kamal’s in Reading Terminal Market. Got a yummy smoothie and gluten free falafel. The employees are so nice and helpful and the food is great!

For the longest time, whenever visiting the Reading Terminal and wanting a full meal, I felt like my only real option was Nanee's thai. This visit I checked my Find me GF app and found that Kamal’s was listed - I even got to chat with owner Kamal Albarouki when I stopped in for some food. He said everything on the menu is GF except the pita - and for $1.25 I could get a GF pita. He also said that the falafel is made fresh every day, with the chickpeas and fava beans soaked the night before. I got the falafel, stuffed grape leaves, baba and vegetables.

Great flavors and satisfying. Nice to have such a safe, delicious and family run Mediterranean option at the Reading Terminal.

Very good food. Most things are gluten free. They have gluten free wraps for gyro too. They are very accommodating here. They are knowledgeable.

Gluten Free, Halal, and vegan friendly place in Reading Terminal Market. Falafel and other Mediterranean delights. They offer gf wraps as well. Yummy!
