Very limited menu with some ability to modify items with Tamari sauce. No dedicated fryer so the calamari is a no go even though it is labeled GF. Be extra careful when ordering and check before consuming. Fried rice had crispy onions on it which they quickly remedied and cooked an entirely new dish. Mistakes happen but I would use extra caution here. Overall food was a bit too salty for me so I don’t think I will return.

Literally served me cider swearing it was gluten free and the server swore she asked bartender for 2nd opinion. Halfway through I was second guessing and asked manager. It most definitely was not gluten free and I was basically drinking a beer .

Awful for Celiacs... they list gf but share fryer! Waiter & manager have communication issuses. Very unprofessional when dealing with my allergy. I literally had to get steamed edamame

Between us, my family of 5 has gluten, dairy and peanut allergies. Often times restaurants are not knowledgeable of what this means. They won’t put cheese but will still butter the bread or they will add the peanuts and then take them off, etc. etc. Kapow’s staff was not only knowledgeable of what was required to safely feed us they weren’t bothered to do so. This means a lot to me because as annoying as special orders may be for a restaurant, it’s life or death for us. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and to say the least I was super impressed because this place can get very busy. During my stay in Boca we ended up eating here twice because we all enjoyed it so much. We ordered the calamari (3 orders to be exact- no peanuts), gluten free fried rice and added chicken and shrimp, and the pineapple dessert. We loved everything and we are hard to impress. The calamari which is so difficult to find GF was just amazing. AH-MA-ZING! I would go back for it alone. The fried rice, while a fairly simple dish, delivered with lots of flavor and the squeezed lime on top hit it out of the park. My kids said I’m never allowed to make fried rice at home moving forward if I don’t have limes like Kapow!! The pineapple was different and very beautifully presented. Definitely tasty but I wish they had another option. My mom (no allergies) ordered the Thai donuts and said they were awesome. It definitely left me a little envious. I’d love to see them try a dairy free and gf Thai donut. 😋😋😋 Everyone working at Kapow was friendly, from hostess to servers and even the cooks. I really got a sense that they all not only enjoyed working there but also felt like it was their place too. Like, they were PROUD of the food they were serving!!! If you are going to be in Boca, or anywhere remotely near, get to Kapow. Take the kids, take your friends and most of all take your appetite and prepare to taste all sorts of new flavor combos! 5⭐
So good! They substituted the ramen noodles in the vegetable ramen with rice noodles and soy sauce with tamari in the fried rice. It was delicious! They were also able to accommodate my sesame allergy.
