My husband has celiac and has never been sick from their GF pizza. We love to order ahead and get it to go. It is definitely pricey but soo good and safe!

Our waiter was very helpful with offering gluten free options. I do wish the options were more obvious on the menu though.

Gluten free options, but high up charge ($6). Wait staff noted gluten allergy, but It was obvious within an hour of eating the food that it was cross-contaminated. Food was good but not safe for celiac so I likely won’t be back.

Last week, we went here for a lunch. My wife and son are very gluten intolerant. My wife ordered a salad, my son ordered a kids pizza (pepperoni) and I got a pick 2 salad and GF pasta. We told several wait staff that we were gluten free at the table. The waitress brought out some dough for my son to play with, not gluten free. We had to tell her he can’t have it. That was when I started to worry. All 3 of us ate a slice of pizza. It tasted very good. The next 3 or 4 days, my son and wife felt the “gluten hangover”. We even had to pay an extra $6 for GF pizza crust. Beware, serous cross contamination at this restaurant.

I am gluten sensitive, not celiac. I love their food, though a bit too pricey, but my last visit will be my last visit as I got really sick from cross contamination. Too bad...

Beware of cross contamination if you have celiac disease. I've gotten sick here after eating a gf pizza. If you follow a gf diet and don't have CD then by all means give it a try. If dining on the weekends, make sure to book a reservation as the wait times can be long.

Firstly, $5 up charge for GF pizza or pasta? Ridiculous. Portions are tiny as well. And they have cross-contaminated me more than once. Go to Mia Sorella instead.

Gluten free??? Unfortunately the label is not factual. While delicious, from the fresh mozzarella fig tapa to the gluten free smoked chicken and feta gluten free pizza, both my mom and I were up all night feeling the effects of the not so gluten free fare. We were so excited to find delicious, fresh, creative food, but will not be back due to the obvious cross - contamination. If you don't have these restrictions, enjoy in full. If you do, stay home.

I don't think this restaurant is for people who have a gluten sensitivity. They have gf pizza crust but I watched them use the same utensils to cook and cut them. I shouldn't have eaten it . my stomach still hurts. it was good but $5 extra on top of $18 individual pizza is too much.

Delicious gf pizza. A great option for something different. They have gf pasta too, though I haven't tried. The atmosphere is adorable, you'll forget you're in a strip mall. My only complaint is that the up charge for the gf crust on the already pricey pizza can make for an expensive night!

Good food, small portions (Gluten free) for the added extra$5 you pay. Pizza was very thin crust with about an 8" pizza. Salad was very good.

Katie's Pizza and Pasta Osteria is a beautifully kitschy Italian restaurant located in the heart of Rock Hill (off Manchester and McKnight Rd./Rock Hill Rd.). With paper lamps covering the ceiling and Katie's fiancé (Ted Collier)'s artwork covering the walls, you'll fall in love as soon as you walk in. The staff is sincere and genuine and the bar is an experience you won't want to miss out on. Every pizza and pasta can be made with GF crust or noodles, the only thing that isn't GF that can go on the pizzas is the gorgonzola cheese and the meatballs which have bread crumbs. In addition, all of the salads are guaranteed GF (no croutons)! And even most of the appetizers can be done GF as well. Pizza points with bean dip turn into GF pizza points with bean dip. The Fried Artichokes aren't breaded and you will surely enjoy them! They are one of the things that make it Katie's! Her seasonal Blood Orange cocktails and salad is revered (in the winter), while her Watermelon Sophia Lauren's and Watermelon Salad's leave you jaw-dropped (in the summer). Katie uses fresh and local ingredients, keeps a clean restaurant, and a careful kitchen that will leave you thinking, "How does she do it all?"
