I went here several years ago and they had gluten free options with an upcharge for each item. It was good at the time. I called about a month ago and they no longer offer any gluten free options.

They don’t have any gluten free options. So thankful I called before going in to double check what my options would be

They seemed to understand celiacs and were very accommodating. I’m celiac and didn’t get sick. Yummy gluten free mochi for dessert.

I called tonight to ask about GF, they said they only have like 2 things on the menu that are GF. If I wanted more GF choices to go to another restaurant. They denied ever doing what any of the other three reviews mentioned. I'm sure the reviewers didn't make that up haha, so clearly I was speaking to someone who was not GF friendly. Anyway just wanted to update what I found out tonight, for others that may be excited to have sushi and then learn that this restaurant doesn't sound like it is as accommodating as it once was.
Some of the best sushi I have eaten in my life! Especially as a celiac staff was friendly knowledgeable and accommodating! I've been to Japan and this comes very very close. Pure enjoyment all around and decent prices.

I called the day before and explained that I was a celiac and had heard they could cater to gluten free....he said most sauces were out but after being told about a few rolls they could do for me I was sold. when I got there, he greeted me personally by name and told me that they had made a special gluten free ponzu sauce for me! needless to day, I was ecstatic. It was also really nice to listen to the chef explain my problems to the woman at the bar while he changed gloves :)

I was SOOO glad to have found this place because my usual favorite gluten free sushi place is all the way down in manhattan beach and I live in the valley, so it's quite a hike. I am also extremely sensitive to gluten and I was quite impressed to see that I had no symptoms after I ate here! It's great to have such a delicious sushi place which can pretty much make anything on the menu Gluten Free(GF). They have GF soy sauce too. The food is definitely worth it and would highly recommend for sushi lovers!! We ordered the Spicy Tuna w/Popcorn Shrimp Tempura Roll (I am NOT a fan of shrimp AT ALL, but this Roll just blew me away! My new favorite!). I highly recommend the crispy tuna appetizer as well! If you stick to items on the menu, the prices are pretty good. If you order something not on the menu at the bar or get something custom made, prices can be a bit high in my opinion. After we got our bill, we realized for next time to just order off the menu.***THIS LOCATION IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT GLUTEN INTOLERANCE! They told me that most of the sauces contained gluten even in the Popcorn Shrimp Tempura Roll, but they were however able to make me the rolls on the menu without the sauce for me.
Yes
Disappointed. No GF menu. Not a lot of options as their rice has traces of gluten in it and most dishes have soy sauce. They do have tamari, though, for sashimi.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be safe eating here since I’ve only eaten here when I was still eating gluten but I was. Had 0 reaction. The person who took our order knew I’m exactly what he had to switch out to make it gluten free. They don’t recommend some sushi rolls cuz they use a vinegar that doesn’t have gluten but it’s also not certified GF, so if you have celiac, they tell you not to risk it. I don’t have celiac but I’m super sensitive and I had those roles that used that vinegar and had no reaction. So it just depends on your comfort level! All in all, great experience! Oh and they have GF soy sauce

Sushi restaurant with a good reputation for business lunches etc. The good news is they understand celiac and will look after you, they have gf soy sauce, but menu items were not marked, there's no gf menu, and the choices described by by waitress were limited. Ended up with some plain sushi and a couple of very plain fish/avocado/rice rolls. Go only if you have to. Safe but not a lot to enjoy.

They do have awareness of gluten containing items, but will be annoyed with you for asking and don’t welcome the conversation. Their rice contains gluten so that leaves edamame and sashimi, not particularly appetizing.
