Explained gluten allergy to server. Server said they would have corn tortillas on my tacos. I start eating and after a taco and a half they tell me they made a mistake and its flour shells.

Ill never come back and dont suggest any sensitive celiacs go either.

The Rainbow Salad appears on the gf menu. It includes crispy garlic. When I asked my server about it, he checked & told me that this item is not gf! The salad was delicious & I had no side effects. But only because I double checked an item on the gf menu.

We just ate here last night, and it was amazing! They have a separate gluten free menu that even denotes which items have potential for cross contamination which I loved. I wish more restaurants would follow Kaya. I got the adobo marinated flank steak, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

Lots of options, and the staff is easily able to tell you which menu items have risk for cross contamination. I split some things with friends and tried the half jerk chicken, tuna poke bowl, and rainbow salad. All great!!

I read about this restaurant on a Facebook group. I was pleasantly surprised that the gluten-free menu indicated any items that had the potential to be cross-contaminated (such as sweet potato fries) so felt very safe. The Jamacian Jerk chicken was delicious!

Wonderful experience. I have celiac and eat gluten-free and dairy-free. They had a separate gf menu and the server was knowledgeable about all of the ingredients. Lots of good choices. I ate the jerk chicken with spicy coleslaw and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!! Several GF choices & delicious cocktails. Waitress was knowledgeable and specified any potential cross contamination issues (no dedicated fryer). Had the Kaya burger & Pineapple Mango Salsa. No issues - best juicy flavorful burger I’ve had (no need a for bun)! We were traveling in the area and went there based upon the app reviews. Can’t wait to go back!

Fun atmosphere, great cocktails. GF menu, with some good options. Less if you have to avoid cross contamination, but the waitress was lovely and knowledgeable. She warned of a shared frier and knew to keep non GF items separate. We got guacamole and bean dip (with tortillas and not chips) and it was delicious. Ate the chicken entree and it was yummy and felt great. We would eat there again for sure.

I had a wonderful experience at Kaya! I was nervous when I was looking at the menu online because it listed lots of “crispy” ingredients, but the server was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they have a completely separate gluten free menu that even lists items that might put you at risk of cross contamination. The food was delicious, I ate with complete confidence, and am happy to report that I didn’t get sick. I have pretty bad reactions to even small amounts of cross contamination.

Had a local (Aurochs) gf beer and the seafood paella. It was so good! Dessert was creme brûlée. Recommend all of the above!! Service was great, too!

A mini vaca w Caribbean vibe and exceptional food and service. Staff was helpful w instruction re GF items. I had half jerk chicken and it was the best chicken I have ever had. There was a caramelized crust on the chicken the had rich jerk flavor off the grill. So delicious! Great bar and sea bass I’ve had in the past was to die for. I really love Kaya and the love and care the staff put into it.

Knowledgeable about Celiac and was able to point out things that were or able to be modified to be Gluten Free. Knew to ask if I was just Gluten Free or had Celiac.
