Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and could answer cross-contamination questions. Waiter also let the kitchen know of the allergy. Staff offered to not bring bread to the table either to be safe. Very aware! Food was great, this restaurant just requires asking more questions as the menu does not have clear specifications.

Excellent Greek salad, swordfish, potatoes and brussel sprouts. Servers are very knowledgeable about gluten free options. Lots to choose from on the menu. For my gluten eating family, the squid ink pasta with scallops was amazing. Giving 4 stars because my broccoli rabe was chewy. Otherwise great meal.

Had an amazing time at Kellari.
I took the Solomo which was perfect re. the gluten-free part. It was super tasty and really worth the price for that part of NYC. The menu doesn’t mention what is gluten-free but the waiters are well aware of what is safe and what is to be left out.
The Kellari fries are to be avoided as cooked in the same fryer as the calamari, but the lemon potatoes are perfectly safe and even yummier, at least according to my husband.

Be sure to speak with the manager about GF options. Calamari and octopus are delicious!
