Review of Kendall's Tavern & Chophouse

I asked all the right questions and was assured what I ordered off their “Celiac Friendly” menu (btw - there is no such thing as “Celiac Friendly”) was gluten free and prepared separately, etc. I tested my food (a tiny mix of bread, chicken, cheese, bacon, mashed potatoes) with my Nima tester and it failed. I believe it was the bacon on my ROTISSERIE CHICKEN MELT sandwich that had gluten (also in the sides they brought with the baked potato they brought me since I couldn’t eat the sandwich - I tested the bacon alone and it failed as well). I discussed how they prepared it and and one person said the grill and the manager said the oven. Then the manager said maybe it was because the cooks all use the same containers to grab toppings and don’t change their gloves. They were really nice and tried their best but for those with Celiac I would not recommend.
