This place was such a bummer. I read on yelp that burgers could be turned into a lettuce wrap and that rice bowls were GF. Which is kinda true… Except that the actual burger patties are not GF (they add soy sauce), the miso marinated cod has soy (which is kind of unusual), and so the only GF options are veggie burger as a lettuce wrap or a poke bowl without sauce. So we left and ate somewhere else. I felt bad because my family was looking forward to some good burgers. I hear the food is great if you can eat gluten, but not recommended if you are GF.

I did not have a good experience here. Food was not good and there was little options that were safe.

I didn’t eat here but my partner (not celiac) did. Just wanted to note that they do have some sushi-rritos that are probably fine, I asked and they said most would be gluten free. Didn’t want to risk it.

Server provided GF menu but unfortunately the chef didn't make my spicy ahi sushi burrito GF. 1st time food runner brought out I took a bite and immediately spit out because it was tempura shrimp with crab mix. 2nd time food runner brought out it was spicy ahi tuna but had crab mix. I didn't realize the crab mix until after I took a single bite. The server and manager were very kind and didn't have us pay for my husband's meal & beer, nor my green tea & cucumber salad. They apologized quite a few times and really did try to make right. The manager said he'd emailed the owners to get a better list of ingredients so they have better knowledge of GF items.

My son has celiac, there were only two GF options on the menu. One was a veggie sushi burrito that was excellent. The second was a lettuce wrap version of their “Old Skool” burger which my son enjoyed as well. The non-GF food was very good if you want burgers or bowls with a Hawaiian/Japanese twist. Good food, no one got sick, just not many GF options.
