This place has gf items on the menu (rolls, pasta) but is not safe for Celiacs. The waitstaff is unfamiliar with the gf offerings. When they checked with the kitchen there are no dedicated gf fryers & they couldn’t provide separate prep space in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. We left & had a great meal at Salt Pine Social about .1 miles down the road.

My husband and I really had a terrible experience here. First time I've ever had a restaurant owner flip out for ordering a custom sandwich ( I am GF and vegetarian ) We were so shocked and disgusted we actually just gave the table next to us our 50$ gift certificate we got for our anniversary and just left.

All sandwiches had the option to be made on gluten free bread which was quite tasty. Our son strongly approved of his turkey club on gluten free roll.

I ordered the lobster roll with the vegetable of the day. Staff was aware of cross contamination and preemptively offered that rather than French fries. The food was excellent and ready quickly. I highly recommend summer visits here, where you can sit outside by the water. Well worth it, and I'm so glad they have finally added a gluten free menu with many delicious options, even for the kiddos!
