They have the best GF Key Lime Pie in Key West. If they run out of GF crust you can still get the GF version in a cup. I have celiacs and I have eaten here three times and never gotten sick!

I went yesterday and the manager told us that they can’t make the gf crust anymore because of the price inflation because of Covid. They do have the pie filling in a cup which is gf. It tastes good and is a good option if you are going.

While they show gluten free key lime pie and gluten free chocolate dipped key lime pie on the menu, they did not have it when I went there. The woman said the company that made the gluten free key lime crust went out of business. However, they do have a crust less key lime pie and I enjoyed that very much.

I went there 2/23/22 based on all the great reviews and was told that they no longer carry gluten-free key lime pie at all. The employee said the demand was too low for them to carry it any longer. She offered that I could “just not eat the crust” of a regular piece. Yeah, no thanks!

They have gluten free key lime pie by the slice and it is soooo good! Even non-gf hubby said it was delish! Several of their other items are technically gluten free, but made on shared machinery so not Celiac safe.

They offer gluten free key lime pie and freshly dipped chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. The staff was nice and knowledgeable about gluten free. She did give me a heads up if you don't eat the gluten free pie it will start to melt in about 10 minutes. I ate the chocolate covered one right away and the slice the next day. It was good, but I liked the taste and balance of Kermits better. It is good though and great to have gf options to compare.

What a treat...a slice of pie in Key West! I bought the gf key lime pie slice and my husband had the gf chocolate covered one. The chocolate covered one is frozen and comes in a wrapper that says “gluten free” on it. However, before I bought my slice of gf pie, I asked if they cut it with a separate knife and if they are careful with handling it so that there isn’t any cross contact. The employee told me that the gf pies are made in a separate area and they use dishes and knives that are dedicated to the gluten free pies. she said they are very careful.

Yum! This is the best gf key lime pie. It’s light and airy with a gf graham cracker crust. They also have chocolate dipped pie slices. Yum!

My second choice in Key West although this was still very good. A lighter, more whipped option than Kermit’s denser filling. I found this less lime intense and tartness is my preference. Three dedicated GF options which was more than Kermit’s.

Delicious GF key lime pie! Just the right combo of sweet/tartness. My husband is gluten intolerant and had no issues afterwards. Even returned the next day for another slice!

Husband (not celiac) and I (celiac) stopped in here for this classic great while in Key West. I haven’t had a slice since my diagnosis and it used to be a favorite dessert. The staff claimed the slice they would be able to sell me was too small to charge me, so they gave it to me on the house. I expected a tiny sliver! However, mine was only slightly smaller (barley discernible unless compared side to side)! Delicious!!!!

I have never had key lime pie in my life! My husband was annoyingly insisting I try it so we finally made the trip to this shop. I even made him only buy the gluten free slice because I was so sure I wouldn’t like it! After one bite I knew I made a huge mistake! The next day I went back and got the chocolate covered slice, AMAZING! The label does indicate its made in a shared facility, but I’m a pretty sensitive celiac and had no issues. They were sure to use separate utensils and even prepared it at a separate station.

I found this particular "best key lime pie in Key West" using the app. I don't often get key lime pie any longer, but theirs is amazing. If you have Celiac's disease, you can eat this little green pie with confidence. Love it!

My husband is a key lime pie person. We tried pie here, Kermit’s, and the “original” key lime pie. He declared the lie here the best. That said, I am not a big fan of key lime pie; but in the spirit of adventure, I tried the GF pie here and at Kermit’s; not the “original” key lime pie because they do not have a GF offering. I, too, thought the pie here was far superior.

I got the chocolate covered pie on a stick. My wife got the pie. Both were delicious and I had no reaction. I did see the server pick up what appeared to be the universal slicer to cut into th newly opened gluten free pie. I didn't eat any of my wife's pie that day (we went multiple days). I can't say for certain that there was cross contamination but better safe than sorry. Just a tip to keep an eye out when you're there and to ask questions. (I wasn't in the mood to ask...)

they no longer have gf pie and are not friendly in any way. the man working the counter was very terse when explaining the store lost lots of money from having to throw out expired gf pie.

They had A LOT of gluten free options. I've never had key lime pie and the gluten free version was amazing! They were careful about putting on gloves to cut the pie and being sure the whipped cream was fresh. I highly recommend.

I had the chocolate dipped key lime pie and it was to die for! I felt "normal" eating a dessert alongside my boyfriend who had the same (non GF) version!

They had gluten free options on the normal menu which is one of my favorite things! Came here a couple different times and didn't get sick once! Got the frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick! Such a great treat!

The gentleman there asked if I had a gluten allergy and then explained he would have to handle my food separately in another area. The pie was fabulous but the dark chocolate dipped key lime pie was decadent. So much so that we came back a second time!
