My super gluten-sensitive husband was THRILLED to have phenomenal, juicy, crunchy fried chicken for the first time in years! We felt so lucky to find this recommendation right on our route! Order ahead if you’re passing through, or it’s an easy 20 minute well-worth-the-wait visit!

I ordered the boneless wings and fried pickles and they both were alright! My biggest issue was that everything was somehow greasy, even the sauces tasted oily to me. But i’m not normally a greasy food eater. My boyfriend (non GF) ordered fried chicken as well and said that it wasn’t great due to a lack of flavor and the amount of grease.

Staff was extremely knowledgeable in both locations Lewes and Milford. They have seperste prep and cooking areas for all the gluten free food. I can say I have not tried everything but the 3 things I have tried have been amazing and prepped not purchased frozen and then cooked. So far I have tried the fried mushroom, broccoli and cheese bites and of course the chicken tenders. I highly recommend you check this place out when your in the area.

FANTASTIC! 4 gf eaters and 1 gluten eater. ZERO CROSS CONTAMINATION! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bagger even CHANGED HER GLOVES to hand me napkins after handling gluten food! AMAZING! The chicken tenders are great, but the fried mushrooms are THE BEST EVER!

I don’t know why the owners of this establishment have leaned into the GF life, but I sure am grateful that they have. I’ve had the GF fried chicken, fries, fried pickles, chicken cheesesteak wrap, and wings. The fried chicken and fried pickles are absolutely amazing. I saw on their Facebook that they’re working on GF mozzarella sticks!!! Everyone there is knowledgeable about the need to keep all the foods separate. For a little fried food joint, it’s truly impressive how much care they put into ensuring a safe and delicious GF experience.

I didn’t love the chicken cheesesteak wrap (I think it would be been much better if I added more toppings, but the wrap itself was decent which we know isn’t a given in GF land). The wings are cooked well but the buffalo sauce was thin and didn’t stick to the wings much. If I was to order them again, I’d get the sauce on the side. I think that approach would ensure a yummy wing experience.

Overall, my only full-on complaint is that of course it’s a fried food joint that actually cares about quality GF food, in my area…I’m not a huge fried food fan so I only get food from here occasionally. But if you love fried food and are searching for safe GF food then be careful! You might be here every night 😀

THE BEST GLUTEN FREE CELIAC SAFE PLACE IN DELAWARE HANDS DOWN! I’ve been here so many times and never gotten sick. They have FRIED CHICKEN! Yeah. You read that right. Gluten free fried chicken, pickles, broccoli bites, all kinds of stuff (: it’s the best.

Great food. Knowledgeable staff. One of the only places I’ve eaten that the fried chicken was passable- let alone delicious. I stop here every time I come through the area and have never had any issues.

This place was wonderful! I had delicious fried mushrooms and fried pickles for the first time in over 12 years. I also had the breaded chicken bites and those were great too. They really seems to get GF cooking. Can’t wait to go back the next time I am in the area.

Delicious gluten free fried chicken, wings, fried mushrooms. Owner understands celiac and is working on expanding the menu further. We do not live in the area and found this place on our way to a vacation and had to hit it again on the way home! My 9 year old celiac grandson was in 7th heaven! Very friendly staff and great service.

Incredible food! Meaty tenders made from chicken breast cooked to order so extra fresh. Gluten free was fantastic!! So many GF oprions! GF Fried pickles, GF boneless wings with so many sauces to choose from. Dedicated fryers! We will definitely be back! Customer service was outstanding and very knowledgeable too!

I could have cried tears of joy having fried chicken and fried pickles for the first time in over 6 years since developing celiac disease. Separate fryers, knowledgeable staff.. I also haven't felt that safe at a new place in a long time. Thank you so much Kick'n Chicken! 💖

For others: I had no reactions, and they had other options too like fried mushrooms, wraps, etc.

Also, they have a Lewes location. I asked if the potato salad was gluten free while there, and without hesitation they checked ingredients. I could tell they were unsure so I saw the owner double check them on his phone. It sealed the deal for me. So much care is put into being gluten free here and it's evident. Also, they made it a point to not upcharge for gluten free items but to keep it the same price. I have never experienced that and it is so appreciated!
