They had gluten free bread for the sandwiches and seemed knowledgeable about allergies and celiac disease. However, the sandwiches are small and expensive so I probably would try something else if I return.

Friendly, informal local cafe with lots of options for the gluten intolerant and several for celiac. They have a wide variety of prepackaged celiac-safe gf baked goods, some of which are excellent. Most sandwiches can be made on gf bread and they will avoid toasting if that’s an issue. They also have a couple of smoothies, soups, and terrific coffee and espresso. All this plus a great patio! Only wish the Vietnamese fresh rolls were gf — alas.

They indicate what soup is gluten-free but I haven’t tried them yet. They also carry Curtis Bakery baked goods wrapped in plastic so you don’t have to worry about cross contamination and it’s nice to have a treat with your coffee.
I’ve been here a few times and have only gotten coffee and the Curtis Street Muffins they serve. The muffins are displayed among the gluten containing items but, are wrapped individually in plastic to avoid contamination. Equal exchange coffee is good and quick and friendly service.
Great GF sandwiches and coffee
Didn't try their sandwiches, but they carry Curtis St Bakery products, which come packaged in plastic and so are free of cross contamination. They make good muffins so I could have something with my coffee. Nice place too.
Good lunch selections! Always ask if it is an allergy which is good
Yes
The muffins were not my favorite but I was way more excited to hear that they can make most of their sandwiches with gluten free bread. I've always been asked if it is a preference or allergy which I personally like.
